As Christians we need to practice self-control, it must be a continual part of our life. God wants to produced this character in us but to do so, we must make the effort to be disciplined.
"A man without self-control is like a city broken into and left without walls." Proverbs 25:28
Self-control limits us. When we live an out-of-control life, you're giving open access to all sorts of attacks by the enemy; but as we submit to Christ, His spirit will guide us and empower us to develop self-control. Practicing self-control will result in good fruit and spiritual maturity.
PRAYERS FOR SELF-CONTROL
May _______________ discipline his body and keeping it under control, lest after preaching to others he himself should be disqualified.
May _____________ be wise in doing right and stay innocent or any wrong. (Romans 16:19)
May ___________ always remember that a out-of-control like is like a city with broken down walls. (Proverbs 25:28)
